Does Coterie design its own product?
Yes! You’ll find that almost everything is made by Coterie. We work with a talented team of artists and designers to create fresh, forward party goods that are exclusive to us!
Can I find Coterie products in stores?
Not yet! All of our products are available exclusively at coterieparty.com. RSVP to emails at the bottom of our to homepage stay tuned for pop-ups and events in your city.
Can I purchase individual items from your Sets?
Nearly all of our Set items are available to purchase on their own, with the exception of a handful of holiday items, collaborations, and limited edition collections. To shop for individual party goods, visit our Shop All page.
Do you offer custom party Sets?
We do! Check out our Build Your Own page to create a custom Set all on your own. We’ll walk you through your options, from dinner plates to decor, and let you call the shots.

Can I make changes to your Sets?
If you want to remove or change items in our Sets, it's easiest to start from scratch using our Shop All page. You can always add more items to our Sets - simply add any extra items from our Shop All page to your cart and we'll ship it all out together. Want to customize a Set all your own? Where do you make your products?
Great question! It was really important to us to team up with manufacturing partners who hold themselves to the same high ethical standards that we do. After visiting dozens of factories stateside and overseas, we ultimately decided on a partners that prioritized quality, compliance to worker’s safety, fair wages and benefits, and dedication to minimizing environmental impacts. Added bonus: our main production facility in China is owned and operated by women, just like Coterie!
How can I check the status of my order?
You can view order status on your Account page, which can be found at the top right corner of our website. You may need to first login under the Sign In page. The Account page will be updated when your order ships.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Things come up - we get it! We will do our best to make edits and cancelations to your order. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible if you would like to cancel or change your order. Our team is speedy quick when packing up your party goods, so the sooner you let us know, the better!
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover debit and credit cards. We also accept Amazon Pay and Paypal Express Checkout.
How do I add a discount or promotion code?
Lucky you! Add any codes to your order at checkout with our handy "Gift card or discount code" box. Once applied, your total will reflect the new amount. Our website allows one discount code per order. If you have multiple discounts, save one for your next order or send it to a friend!
Discount codes are only applicable to "discountable" items. Exclusions may apply.
Why isn't my discount code working?
Oh no! Trouble with discount codes is commonly caused by expiration dates or what’s in your shopping cart. Double check if the code you received has any restrictions, like a price hurdle or expiration date. Discount codes are also only applicable to "discountable" items. Exclusions may apply.
Can I buy a gift card?
You're a great friend!! Gift cards can be found here and will be delivered to the email you provide in checkout shortly after purchase.
How do I use a gift card?
Enter the unique code on your gift card in the "Gift card or discount code" box during checkout!
Where does Coterie ship?
Coterie currently ships within the U.S., to all 50 states and the District of Columbia. You may experience longer delivery times when shipping to Hawaii and Alaska.

How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping (1-5 business days, add a few days on for Alaska and Hawaii) is FREE on orders over $45. For orders under $45, we charge a flat rate of $8 for standard shipping.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
Yes! We know the party can't always wait, so we offer expedited shipping at a discounted price.
You can choose between 2-day and overnight delivery. If your order is received by 12pm ET, it will ship out same day. If received after 12pm, we'll do our best to get it out the door quickly but you should add an extra day for processing just in case!
When can I expect to receive my order?
If your order is received by 12pm ET, we do our best to ship it out same day. All other orders will ship out the next business day.
Shipping usually takes between 1-5 business days. Your party boxes are packed up on the East Coast. From there, we do the hard work for you -- once you’ve entered your address at Checkout, you’ll get the best shipping estimate based on your location. This way here you won’t have to pay for expedited shipping unless your in a pinch (we’ve been there!).
You are likely to experience longer delivery times when shipping to Hawaii and Alaska.
Things may come up that are out of our control (like bad weather or shipping delays), but we’ll always work to get you your party goods as fast as we can!
Does Coterie ship to PO boxes?
At this time, we do not deliver to PO boxes.
Does Coterie ship to APO/FPO/DPO Addresses?
At this time, we do not deliver to APO/FPO/DPO Addresses.
What is your return policy?
All our party goods are backed by our Coterie promise! If the products you selected didn't work out, you are free to return your items for a refund to the original form of payment. All returns should be received within 30 days of the original purchase date and be in their original packaging. We sadly cannot accept returns on opened items or items that have been damaged after opening.

Please note, we deduct $6 to cover the cost of return shipping and restocking. We don't offer exchanges at this time.
What is your exchange policy?
Our system doesn't allow us to initiate exchanges right now, but who has time to wait for an exchange to be processed? When we're planning a party, we certainly don't. Drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll do our best to set you up with essentials you love.
How do I initiate a return?
To initiate a return, go to https://coterieparty.returnly.com.
How and when will I be refunded?
It takes our team about two weeks to receive your return and process the refund. Once complete, we’ll initiate the refund and it will post back to the original payment method.
I purchased a Set but I didn't end up using one of the items. Can I return this item only?
Sets are sold as a team and are most fun when used all together! As a result, we can't accept single item returns from a Set. If you don't plan to use all the items in a Set, we suggest shopping for individual items using our Shop All page.

At Coterie, we create design-forward products for the low-key party thrower who values quality time with friends more than perfecting every last detail. After all, the people are what make the party. By providing you with decorations that make any party look like you planned it for weeks in advance (no one has to know you paid for express shipping) we take the fuss out of getting together so you can focus on the fun stuff.
